Jimin and Anna’s Podcast

In our podcast, we sat down with Anna, a funny and bright high schooler who has been diagnosed with autism. What’s special about Anna is that she’s not really like the stereotypical autistic individuals we typically see in TV shows and movies. She isn’t a computer prodigy or a Rubik’s Cube expert; instead, she calls herself more of an “average” kid who enjoys history and being analytical. Throughout this episode, Anna hopes to share a vital message to our listeners: the importance of listening to real stories from real people. As you hear about Anna’s experiences with therapy, her family, and social interactions, you’ll find moments of laughter, gain new insights, and probably rethink what you thought you previously knew about autism. This episode is all about celebrating the diverse experiences within the autistic community and spreading a little more understanding and kindness in the world. We hope you enjoy getting to know Anna as much as we did. Enjoy!
